I began my career at the prestigious Inchbald School of Design in London, and have become one of New Zealand’s most established interior designers. With clients throughout New Zealand, my work has featured in Trends Magazine, The Dominion Post and TVNZ’s New Zealand Living.
I was born and educated in Sri Lanka and have travelled extensively throughout the world. A strong passion for supporting artisans in my homeland is evident in my recently launched homeware store, featuring products imported directly from Sri Lanka.
Added to my love for travel, I also have an interest in languages and my culturally diverse background adds an international nuance to a creative palette that my clients know and love.
These experiences have all contributed to my design ethic and broadened my scope of imagination.
My design philosophy is to approach each project with an open mind in order to create something that is new and uniquely composed for the client. Each home or space embodies a perfect fit for its occupants, creating a sense of harmony and flow.
I believe in timeless, serene, elegant interiors. Understated opulence. Harmonious and functional design.
I encourage you to have some fun with your home accessory collection – the pieces don’t all have to be functional, they can be totally decorative.
Surround yourself with beautiful objects that you love and uplift you every time you walk in the door, like these fabulous products from my new collection.
